July 5th 2pm – 5pm @ Miller Corners Lodge

We are excited to be hosting Spring Creek’s “Under God – Indivisible” Independence Day celebration on July 5th. A first for The Ledge, this event will include a parade with cash prizes, a flag retirement ceremony, and great food and fellowship with local residents. We should have some great (however, hot) weather for the event, so leave your raincoats at home but be sure to pack the sunscreen!

Participating in the parade

We have tractors, ATVs, golf carts, and even horses registered to participate in the parade. If you would like to deck out your off-road vehicle in red, white, and blue and participate in the parade, it’s not too late! Just fill out the participation form in the teal box here. Last-minute entrants may not have a place to park, so be sure to let us know you’re coming so we can account for your vehicle, trailer, etc. There will be cash prizes for the winners, which will be judged by a few of our local farmers! Since The Ledge is all about giving back to the communities and values we hold dear, winners will receive half of the prize money with the remaining half going to the charity of their choice!

CASH PRIZES 1st place ($300), 2nd place ($200), 3rd place ($100).

Participants need to be at The Lodge with their vehicles unloaded by 1:30 pm to ensure a prompt 2:00 pm start. If you have any questions, you can contact Donna Sudderth at 901-832-5181 or shoot us a message here.

Watching the parade

If you just want to kick back and cheer on our parade participants, that’s wonderful! Volunteers will be in the parking lot of Spring Creek Baptist Church to help you find a place to park along the parade route. Parking is limited, so arrive early to secure your spot. If that fills up, we will park overflow at The Lodge parking lot and you can walk to spectator areas from there. Once the parade is over, you can walk along the parade route to The Lodge for lunch! Again, if you have any questions, you can contact Donna Sudderth at 901-832-5181 or shoot us a message here.

Volunteers are welcome!

We can always use a few helping hands. There are multiple volunteer shifts available. If you are interested in helping with parking, parade lineup, decorating, serving food, or clean up, please contact Donna Sudderth at 901-832-5181 or shoot us a message here.
